We all have our own cleaning hacks. But there are many things we just don’t know how to clean the right way. If you want some life-changing cleaning hacks that will make your cleaning routine easier, check the list below.
If you don’t clean your shower curtains and liners often, you should rethink about it. Unclean shower curtains can make your shower space full of mud, bacteria, and mold. IF you have fabric shower curtains, simply throw them in the washing machine. If you have plastic ones, scrub the dirt out of them using baking soda and distilled vinegar.
Your chrome and stainless sinks can become covered in hard water easily. If you want to clean them fast, soak a soft cloth in distilled vinegar and wipe them off to make them shiny and clean again.
Makeup brushes touch your face a lot, that makes them accumulate bacteria fast. To avoid acne and blackheads, make sure to clean them regularly and properly. To do that, massage them gently with warm water and lemon essential oil then rinse them with cool water.
Ceiling fans become a dusty mess fast. Always clean them using a damp cloth to avoid these chunks of dirt and dust.
If you want to remove stains from microfiber furniture, fill a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol and spray it directly on the stains. Use a microfiber cloth to wipe off the stains and excess and allow them to air dry.
Similar to microfiber furniture, Mattresses can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol too. If you want better results, use baking soda on the stains, let sit, then vacuum the residue after a few hours.
The key to disinfecting your laptop screens and keyboards is using rubbing alcohol. Spray the alcohol on a microfiber cloth and wipe down your screen and surfaces with it. To clean your keyboard, use a Q-tip in between the keys.
If you want to remove built-up grease from your cast iron skillets, sprinkle them with some salt, then scrub the bottom and sides with half a potato. Clean it as usual afterward.
Sinks and bathtubs that are made of porcelain become stained with time. If you want them to look new again, mix a small amount of vinegar, baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide to scrub them.
To clean the built-up residue off your iron, make a paste of baking soda and water, then apply it to the iron and gently scrub it. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth. (make sure that it’s unplugged)
If you want to clean and deodorize your washing machine, run a cycle with no clothes, then add a cup of distilled vinegar.
To get rid of white water stains on wood tables, apply mayonnaise to the stains and cover them with saran wrap. Let sit overnight, then wipe off with a damp cloth the following day.
