7 Tricks Every Driver Needs to Know - Cleaning & Household 2024 | PopcornTime

Whether we’re commuting, transporting our children to school or activities, running errands or traveling for the vacations, we spend almost as much time in our cars as we do in our homes. Yet, during all that time, our vehicles too often end up being messy, disorganized and uncomfortable. Don’t you think it could be better? The crazy Russian hacker did, and he’s here today to show us SEVEN ways to make our cars cleaner, more organized, and just plain cooler.

So, did you remember all these ideas? Let’s make sure we have them all!

1- Are your cupcake holders accumulating tons of miscellaneous, unidentifiable trash? Clean them and, more importantly, keep them clean with a great item: cupcake liners! Clean the cup holders, then place a liner in them. If you start to accumulate waste again, simply remove the liner and voila! A clean cup holder every time.

2- Anyone who shares a car knows that the driver’s seat always needs to be readjusted after the other person has taken a turn. Make it easier and faster by marking your ideal position with small pieces of duct tape.

3- Heading home with a pizza to go? Avoid the dreaded cheese slide by stacking two water bottles on the passenger seat, then placing the pizza box on top. The pizza will stay flat and the cheese will stay put!

4- Everyone has faced the challenge of getting all the groceries home without dropping anything, while dealing with cranky kids and dealing with the cold weather. Make it easier and more efficient for yourself by designating a laundry basket as your shopping cart and always storing it in the trunk of your car so you can carry the bags of groceries.

5- Do you know right off the bat which side of the car your gas tank is on? Do you know how to tell if you are driving a borrowed or rented car? The answer is simple: look at the gas gauge! Next to the icon, an arrow points to the right side of the car.

6- Parking a car in a crowded garage can be tricky, especially if you store your stuff on the floor and out of a driver’s view. To help guide you, tie a long piece of string or rope to the ceiling of the garage where you should stop when pulling the car into its space. Tape a tennis ball to the end with duct tape. When you pull up and gently hit the soft tennis ball, you’ll know you’ve parked correctly!

7- Amplify the reach of your keychain by holding it under and against your chin when you press the button. It’s weird, but it works perfectly and will save you a lot of frustration in large parking lots if you forget where you parked!
