Here are a lot of cheap and amazing hacks that will keep your home smelling as fresh as possible.
Distilled vinegar is seriously good for everything. If you have an unpleasant smell in your home, soak a rag in distilled vinegar, then waft it all around the house. This will eliminate any lingering odors around your home.
If you’ve made fish for lunch or dinner and your house ended up smelling fishy and not so delicious, mix two cups of water, a few tablespoons of baking soda, and some lemon peels. Leave the mixture in your kitchen and it will absorb the fishy smell and leave it smelling fresh and clean.
If you’re tired of garbage can smell, sprinkle it with some ground coffee. This will help alleviate the yucky garbage smell. You’ll be surprised at how different your home will smell!
If your garburator isn’t smelling excessively lovely, pour some ice down it and crush it. Then, sprinkle some baking soda in with it. The mix will ingest any rancid, disgusting smells.
This hack is particularly helpful for around the Christmas season. If you need your home to smell comfortable and inviting, have a go at heating up some cinnamon sticks in water. When the blend has been heated to the point of boiling, you can kill the burner and left the aroma drift all through your home.
