1. Salt Water

Honey can also kill bacteria and help fight off viral infections,” If you’re also suffering from a bad cough along with the sore throat, mixing 2 tsp of honey with warm water or tea will do the job. Try to drink this as much as you can until the cough goes away.

3. Lemon

In addition to the past remedies, lemon is also a great solution for sore throats as it dissolves mucus fast. It also contains a lot of Vitamin C which is great for boosting the immune system and fights the infection. Mix one teaspoon of lemon juice into a glass of warm water and drink for quick relief.

4. Hot Sauce

Using hot sauce to treat a sore throat might seem weird but it’s already scientifically proven to work! Peppers are rich is capsicum which is used to fight inflammation and relieve pain. So mixing a few drops of hot sauce in a glass of warm water to gargle it might be the perfect remedy for your sore throat even though it might burn at first.
